Welcome to Howe Hill Farm, a historic farmstead and creative workshop destination nestled in the lush hillsides of Camden, Maine.

STAY WITH US

Offering weeklong stays for folks visiting the area or taking courses at Howe Hill Farm or Maine Media Workshops. The artist hideaway is a fully-furnished artist sanctuary. This beautiful, newly renovated guest house has a kitchen, full bath and two guest suites - both with queen beds. Located on our 18-acre farmstead and just a short walk to the 154-acre Hodson preserve.

The artist hideaway is not listed on Airbnb or other vacation rental sites. If you would like to book your stay please email us with the week you are interested in and include your name, phone number and address in the email. Guests check in on Sunday between 3pm and 10pm and check out on Saturday morning at 11am. If you would like to stay for more than a week or if you would like to include Saturday night as well just let us know in your email. Once we receive your email we will send the rental agreement. Payment can be made by check or credit card.

$1,750: Standard weekly rate (Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning stay)

$2,000: If you would like to add Saturday night to your stay

RULES & USEFUL INFORMATION

Travel Info: Howe Hill Farm is perched in the mountains above Camden, Maine. Our closest airport is the Knox County Regional Airport located in Owls Head, Maine (a 25-minute drive from HHF)
Getting Around: Our farm is not within comfortable walking distance to town. There is one Uber in the area but it is often unavailable, so a rental car is recommended. Onsite parking is available for up to two cars.
What To Do On and Around Midcoast Maine: There are some great restaurants in Midcoast Maine (advanced reservations strongly recommended during the busy summer tourist season), wine tasting, hiking trails, schooner sails, ferry excursions to islands and so much more.
Special Events: No parties or loud noise will be permitted as part of the Artists Hideaway stay.
Pet Policy: We love animals, but unfortunately pets are not allowed because our spirited terrier mix doesn't play well with other dogs.
Minimum Stay: Sunday night to Saturday morning. Weeklong stays are required by the town of Camden for short-term rentals. You do not have to stay the full time but we only rent by the time spans outlined above.
Payment: Please email us with the week you are interested in booking. We will then send you our rental agreement and invoice.
Check In / Check Out: Check in is between 3pm and 10pm. Check out is by 11am. We will try to accommodate early check ins as best we can, so please let us know in advance if you’d like to check in early.
