SCHEDULE
Class groups will meet every Friday at 6:45pm (Eastern Time) - May 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th. Each weekly group session will run 1-2.5 hours, depending on lecture and critique time.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
STAY INSPIRED. STAY ENGAGED. STAY CONNECTED. KEEP CREATING.
In April, we decided to offer free weekly critiques to former students and friends on Zoom. These critiques quickly became the highlight of our week at home. We quickly realized the therapeutic power of staying connected and creative during this very difficult time. We have decided to expand this offering into something more, and something that is sustainable for our family moving forward.
Creative Connection is a course designed as a continuation of these weekly critiques with some extra special sauce. In addition to weekly assignments and group critiques, we will have mini-lectures and demos. We will limit our group size to 10 so that we can get a great dialog going and so you can submit 2-3 images for critique instead of just one each week.
Our weekly assignments have been created so that they can be easily executed from home if you feel inspired to make new work. That said, you can absolutely pull images from your archives that fit the weekly assignments if you prefer (there has never been a better time to revisit past work!)
Dressing up for our weekly sessions and indulging in a festive beverage is encouraged, but certainly not required.
WORKSHOP SPECIFICS
Skill level
This course is for photographers of all skill levels and ambitions. The only requirement is that you know how to resize your images to 2,500 pixels on the longest side to submit for our weekly critiques.
HOURS
The class will meet on Fridays at 6:45pm (Eastern Time) - May 8th, May 15th, May 22nd & May 29th. Each session will run 1 - 2.5 hours, depending on lecture and critique duration.
CLASS SIZE
A maximum of 12 students, and a minimum of 6*
*The workshop will be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met within 7 days of the workshop start. If cancelled, a full refund will be issued to all registered students.
