 WINTERSCAPES
January 9th - 12th, 2025

Frozen lakes, hibernating forests & quiet beaches

Explore and capture the beauty of Maine during a time of year when the land and its inhabitants are at rest. Wintertime in Maine is when the tourists are gone, the beaches are empty and the light is other worldly. This adventurous course will take students to Jacob's favorite winter destinations within a 1.5 hour drive of the classroom at Howe Hill Farm. With the sun rising at around 7am and setting at about 4pm, we will spend a majority of our time outside of the classroom exploring a variety of incredible locations. We will reserve classroom time in the late morning for critiques.

Brave the elements (remember, there's no bad weather, just bad clothing) and embark on a photographic adventure to remember!
